Mooreville—Patricia Ann “Pat” Sansing passed away Saturday, September 23, 2023 at her home in Mooreville. She was 68 years old. Born March 29, 1955 in Norfolk, Virginia, she was the daughter of James and Lillian Hackett McFarland. After her high school graduation, Pat attended Atlantic Baptist Bible College. On December 18, 1976 she married the love of her life and best friend, Jim Sansing and they enjoyed 46 years of marriage. In 1979 they relocated to Mississippi. Pat was known as a kind and generous woman, giving of herself and her time to those in need. She had a heart for single moms and offered to care for their children without expecting anything in return. She was also a very industrious person as she worked her way up to general manager for Avon and created beautiful pieces of jewelry. Pat was also a woman of strong faith in God and faithfully attended Grace Memorial Baptist Church. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family who will miss her dearly.

Pat leaves behind her husband, Jim Sansing of Mooreville; two sons, Stephen Sansing and fiancé, Jeannie, and Daniel Sansing, all of Kennesaw, Georgia; and her brother, Jimmy McFarland and wife, Kathy of Chesapeake, Virginia.

Visitation will be 4 until 6 p.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Pegues Funeral Directors, Tupelo.

Services honoring Pat’s memory will be 1 p.m. Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Grace Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Kerry Nelson officiating.

Graveside services will follow at Lee Memorial Park.
