PATEY EZELLE

Tupelo - Lauren Patey Ezelle, 9, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2013, with her father, who adored her. She was born in Tupelo to Brian and Heather Walls Ezelle. She was an amazing little girl with a quirky personality. Extremely artistic, she loved to develop storylines, loved any color green, zebra stripes and animals and dreamed of being a pet store owner when she grew up. A tomboy, she loved to swim and was always involved in swimming competitions. She had just completed the third grade at Peirce Street School. She was very smart and earned straight A?s all through school. A beautiful little girl, she had reigned as Little Miss Tupelo for three years.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at The Orchard. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is entrusted with arrangements.

Survivors include her mother, Heather Walls Ezelle; her brother, Cole Ezelle; several aunts and uncles; her paternal grandmother and namesake, Mary Maxine Patey Ezelle; her maternal grandparents, Sherrye and Johnny Wiginton.

Pallbearers will be Rudy Caldwell, Chris Clay, Graham Thompson, Scott Taylor, Mike Patterson, David and Danny Cox, Pat Stafford, Chris, Cliff and Carey Rial.

Honorary pallbearers will be her brother, Cole Ezelle; her friends at the Wildwood Daycare; her Sunday School Class at The Orchard; and her three best friends, her cousins, Reece and Patrick Helms and Taylor Bennett.
