PAMELA THOMAS Blue Springs - Pamela Thomas, 47, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at her residence from complications due to a long battle with cancer. An Okolona native, she was born November 23, 1965, to Davis P. and Barbara Louise Howard Henderson. She was a 1983 graduate of Ingomar High School. Raised in the Tupelo, Verona area, she lived most of her adult life in Sherman and spent the remainder of her married life in Blue Springs. A celebration of her life will be 2 p.m. Thursday, October 10, 2013, at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Jeff Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park. She is survived by her husband of 21 wonderful years, Patrick Thomas of Blue Springs; one son, Corey Coker (Mellisa) of Saltillo; one brother, David Henderson (Melanie) of Hernando; her parents, Davis P. and Barbara Henderson of Saltillo; two grandchildren, Ella Grace Coker and Carson Coker; one niece, Ivy Brooke Henderson; one nephew, D.J. Henderson of Hernando; many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at the funeral home.
