TupeloPamela C. Hayes, 47, died Thursday, September 10, 2009, at her residence in Tupelo after a lengthy illness. She was born November 14, 1961, in Somerset, Kentucky and has lived in Tupelo since 2000. She attended Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky and received her Associates degree from Hinds Junior College in Jackson. She was a computer wiz and enjoyed photography, drawing, arts and crafts and stained glass. She was a member of the Northeast Church of Christ and loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband of twenty years, John E. Hayes; her daughter, Ashley Nicole Hayes; one sister, Shelly Brown; and her parents, Dallas C. Brown and Mary Odell Roberts Brown, all of Tupelo.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Bro. J. C. Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Scott Doles, Tim Smith, Jackie Clayton, Jim Allen, Don Hayes, and Tim Hayes.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home on Jefferson Street.
