Ople L. Gammill
Saltillo- Ople L. Robinson Gammill, 84, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 16, 2019, at Longwood Community Living Center in Booneville. She was born August 23, 1934 in Saltillo to Joseph Ernest Dunaway and Icy Yeilding Dunaway. She started her working career at Guntown Slacks and later became a private sitter. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, singing, reading her Bible and Daniel Steele novels, soap operas and spending time with her family. She was a member of New Jerusalem Church in Guntown.
Ople is survived by her four children, Charles “Steve” Robinson and his wife, Mary of Saltillo, Deborah Robinson of Guntown, Dale Robinson and his wife, Pamelia of Saltillo and Jimmy “JR” Robinson of Saltillo; 23 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and three great-great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Ernest Dunaway and Icy Yeilding Dunaway; husband, Charles O. Robinson; 15 brothers and sisters; two grandsons and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 3 until 7 p.m. Sunday, August 18, 2019, at W. E. Pegues, Saltillo.
Services honoring her life will be 1 p.m. Monday, August 19, 2019, at the Saltillo Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Bro. O. D. Hester and Bro. Clinton Davidson officiating. Burial will be at Saltillo Cemetery.
