OPAL LOUISE SEYMORE Nettleton - Opal Louise Holcomb Seymore, 88, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 8, 2015, at the Sanctuary Hospice House. She was born in Mooreville on February 9, 1927, to James Emory and Willie May Towery Carnathan. Her hobbies included reading, traveling, working in her yard. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Nettleton. Services will be 11 a.m.,Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Roger Smith and Rev. Ronald Pannell officiating. Burial will be in Holcomb Cemetery in Pontotoc. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include by her husband, Odell Seymore of Nettleton, three daughters, Eleanor Louise Holcomb Smith (Rev. Roger Smith) of Tupelo, Brenda Holcomb Pannell (Ronald) of Nettleton and Kathy Holcomb Roberts (Jason) of Tupelo; one son, Gerald Holcomb of Shannon; four step-children, Bud Seymore (Jennie) of Nettleton, Danny Seymore (Sharon)of Nettleton, Louise Ann Lockhart (Dewayne) of Nettleton and Patricia Lynn Hampton (Donny) of Novie, Alabama; twenty-five grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; and twenty-three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Elmer Banks Holcomb; two sons, Sonny Holcomb and Danny Holcomb Pallbearers will be Ronnie Pannell, Jason Pannell, Michael Strickland, Chad Holcomb, Sonny Holcomb, Steven Holcomb, Webb Roberts, Dale Seymore, Daniel Seymore, Ricky Seymore, and Luke Seymore.
