ODIE VEE WHITE Mooreville - Odie Vee White, 82, died Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at Community Hospice at Darlington Oaks after an extended illness. A lifelong residence of Mooreville, she was born October 25, 1929 to Aaron Vonnie and Arnie Vee Hallmark White. She was a graduate of Mooreville High School. For 34 years she worked for Woolworth/ Woolco as a sales clerk personnel manager and also traveled many states helping set up new stores. She also worked 8 years for Wal-Mart. Scrapbooking, taking pictures and listening to gospel and bluegrass music was among her favorite pastimes. She also loved flowers. She was a faithful member of Union Grove Church of God of Prophecy Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 25, 2012 at Union Grove Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Tim Winters, Rev. Wayne Thorne, Rev. Curtis Shelton, and Rev. Ryan Napelo officiating. Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include four brothers, Heburn White of Mooeville, Lelva White (Gayle of Mooreville, Argus White (Martha) of Mantachie and Irron White of Mooreville; numberous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Hubert White, Aaron D. White and R. V. White; two sister-in-laws, Janet White and Mary White. Pallbearers will be Jonathan White, Eli White, Barry White, Blake Buchanan, Tracy Rogers, Trae Camp and Jacob Vance. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Camp and Kenneth White. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2012 at the Union Grove Church of God of Prophecy.
