J.C. Campbell
TUPELO - James C. "J.C." Campbell, 59, died Friday, July 27, 2007, at the Golden Living Center in Tupelo. He was born Sept. 9, 1947, in the Richmond community to the late Walter Alexander Campbell and Sara Marzee Campbell and had lived in Lee County most of his life. He was disabled and a former factory worker for Superior Products, Landscape Specialties and R.W. Wood Products. He attended school at Sherman and Saltillo and attended community college in San Diego, Calif. He enjoyed listening to music and spending time with his grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Tupelo Memorial Park with Bro. Jackie Carnathan officiating. W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include one daughter, Melody Gail Campbell Gilmore of Mantachie; three sons, James Alexander "Alex" Campbell of Mooreville, Mitchell Wayne Campbell of Tupelo and James Kevin Martin of Saltillo; one brother, Guy Mitchell Campbell of Mooreville; several nieces and nephews; and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Rhonda Campbell Cates; and two brothers, Dearl Wayne Campbell and Jimmy Campbell.
Pallbearers will be Paul Wayne Green, Charles Daniel Stewart, Jonathan Joyner and Danny Kemp.
Visitation will be after services at the cemetery.
