NORMAN REED Mooreville - Norman Reed, 48, died Sunday, December 9, 2012, at his residence in Mooreville. He was born January 7, 1964 to James R. and Helen Harbin Reed. He loved his family and friends as well as music, cars and motorcycles. He truly loved to laugh and enjoyed every moment of life. He will be missed so much. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at the Jefferson Street Chapel with Rev. Jack Ezell and Rev. Terry Ethridge officiating with a eulogy by Whitney Crane. Burial will be in Andrews Chapel. Survivors include his wife Diane Reed; his son, Justin Reed (Kayla); his daughters, Michelle Holt (Jay) and Allie Beard; six grandchildren, Sarah Baswell, Savannah Baswell, Shelby Baswell, Dominique Reed, Tre Holt and Wesley Holt; two brothers, Billy Hood and Russell Reed; five sisters, Elizabeth Cockrell (Bobby), Velma Stanford (Ray), Martha Dickerson (Mitchell), Lela Floyd (Tony) and Tammy Tackett; numerous nieces and nephews who were very much adored and cherished. The family would like to give a special thank you to a wonderful nurse and angel from God, Whitney Crane. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Arley and Roy Reed. Pallbearers will be Billy Cox, John Payne, Jonathan McIntosh, Johnathan Baswell, Johnny Payne and Carl Ethridge. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at the funeral home.
