NORENE FRANCIS LITTLE
Tupelo - Norene Francis Little, 96, died Friday, December 1, 2006, at Tupelo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness. A Lee County native, she was born April 9, 1910 to the late Wylie F. and Betty Hall Francis. She was retired from Reed's Manufacturing after 26 years of service. She was married to T.E. Little who preceded her in death December 11, 1981. She enjoyed quilting and sewing, crochetting, and other types of needlework. She loved God and her family and will be greatly missed. She was Presbyterian and had attended East Heights Baptist Church.
Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, December 3, 2006 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Jason Marlin and Rev. John Weith officiating. Burial will be inLee Memorial Park.
Survivors include two sons, Elmer Little of Amory and Gerald Little of Tupelo; a brother, Floyd Francis and wife, Christine, of Tupelo; seven Grandchildren, Steven Little and wife, Lynn of Chapin, S.C., Susan May and husband, Jake of Jugfork community, Sandy Hill of California, Greg Little and wife, Kim, of Tupelo, Marty Little and wife, Sissy, of Saltillo, Stanley Little and wife, Judy, of Arlington, Tenn.; and Allison Pounds and husband, James, of Tupelo; eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren..
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Alva Francis, Daniel Francis, and Frankin Francis; and an infant sister
Pallbearers will be her nephews.
Visitation will continue Sunday until service time at the funeral home.
