Nicky Blanchard Mooreville - Jules Harrison "Nicky" Blanchard, 59, passed away Tuesday, April 01, 2014 at North Mississippi Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, on June 22, 1954 to John E. and Bobbie Leslie Blanchard. Nicky worked for People Lounger for the majority of his career. He also enjoyed leather crafting. He was a member of Priceville Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing his guitar and collecting Native American artifact and The Three Stogies memorabilia. Nicky loved his family and his Dog Lexie. Services will be Friday, April 5, 2014, at 2 p.m. at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues Funeral Home with Gary Dawson officiating. Burial will be at Mooreville Cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Angie Anglin (Ron) of Fulton; Samantha Sullivan of Nettleton; his father, John E. Blanchard; his former wife, Shirley Haas of Tupelo; four sisters, Kathy Arnold (David) of St. Martinsville, LA., Mary Dawson (Gary) of Moorevlle, Suzanne Smith (Don) of Amory, Frances Long (Mickey) of Mooreville; four brother, Scott Blanchard (Nita) of Mooreville, Larry Blanchard (Joyce) of Mooreville, Phillip Blanchard (Mimi) of Guntown, Chris Blanchard (Kori) of Breaux Bridge, LA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bobbie Leslie Blanchard; three nephews, Jeremy Wright, Jonathan Wright, and Tucker Blanchard; his grandparents, Anna Mae and Neville Leslie and Arlene Jordan and John Blanchard . Pallbearers will be John Scott Blanchard, Jacob Dawson, Matthew Blanchard, Josh Blanchard, Daniel Blanchard, Jeff Leslie, Matt Blanchard, Ben Blanchard and Ford Blanchard. Visitation will be Thursday, April 4, 2014, 5 - 9 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
