Auburn - Brenda Nell Anglin, 64, died Saturday, May 30, 2009, at Golden Living Center after an extended illness. A Lee County native and longtime resident of the Auburn Community, she was born October 6, 1944 to James T. and Lula Mae Lansdell Williams. She enjoyed fishing and reading. She was a founding member of Cedar Grove United Pentecostal Church where she was very active and served as a Sunday School teacher.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Cedar Grove United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Danny Robbins, Rev. R. P. Kloepper and Rev. Sammy Raper officiating. Burial will be in Eggville Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her husband of 10 years, Randy Anglin of Auburn Community; one sister, Patricia Dodson (Benny) of Martinsville, Va.; four brothers, James C. Williams (Kathleen) of Palmetto, Gaylon Williams (Gail) of Lake Piomingo, Roland M. Williams (Joyce) of Wren and Rex Williams (Cheryl) of Farmville, Va.; and 16 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Robbie Mullins; a sister, Dorothy Kitchens; and a brother, Bobby Williams.
Pallbearers will be Bruce, Nickey, Mark, Matt, Wade, and Casey Williams.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the church.
