Nancy Summer Robertson

Tupelo - Nancy Summer Robertson, 84, died Sunday, April 22, 2018, at North Mississippi Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born in Hattiesburg November 18, 1933, to Enoch Marvin and Jeannette Whittle Summer. Nancy loved animals especially her dog, Bandit. She enjoyed tending to her flower and vegetable gardens and loved butterflies. She attended Calvary Baptist Church in Tupelo and was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Jackson.
Survivors include two daughters, Leigh Eldridge and her husband, Tony and Susan Fleming and her husband, Chip of Huntsville, Alabama; three grandchildren, Jordan Eldridge, Summer Eldridge and Vitaly Fleming; one sister, Ceclia Filgo of Baton Rouge, Lousiana; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 48 years, Lewis Brooks Robertson.
Visitation will be from 4 until 6 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2018 at W.E. Pegues, Tupelo and from 12 until service time at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2018 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton with Rev. Doug Spires officiating. Graveside services will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Tony Eldridge, Jordan Eldridge, Chip Fleming, Vitaly Fleming, Frank Martini and Jeremy Silva.
Memorials may be made to Sanctuary Hospice House where Nancy and Bandit volunteered, 5159 W. Main St. Tupelo, MS 38801.
