Dorsey - Nancy Faye Coggins, 46, died Sunday, October 4, 2009, at her residence after an extended illness. An Okolona native, she was born October 25, 1962. She worked at KC's Mart in Mooreville. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Mr. Sammy Lansdell officiating. Burial will be in Andrews Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Beverly Agnew (Robert) of Guntown; two sons, Matthew Williams (Serena) and Don Williams, both of Dorsey; her mother, Lottie Edwards of Nettleton; two sisters, Sue Sullivan and Sarah Sullivan(Johnny), all of Nettleton; three brothers, Tony Reeves and Wayne Reeves of Nettleton and David Edwards of Pontotoc; her step-parents, William "Daybo" and Cindy Edwards of Pontotoc; six grandchildren, Gloria and Destiny Williams of Mooreville, Malaya and Jaylon Agnew of Guntown, Christopher Birmingham of Dorsey, Josh Polege (Chasity) of Jumpertown; three great-grandchildren, Jace, Jayla, and Jaxton Polege of Jumpertown; a special friend, Tony Lee of Nettleton.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Troy Lee Edwards; her grandmother, Jettie Williams, and her aunt, Lucile Clayton.
Pallbearers will be Josh Polege, William Smith, Robert Agnew, Tony Lee, Christopher Birmingham, Danny Nickelson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jesse Crinford and Marky Jo Williams.
Visitation will be 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
