Tupelo - M.C. Ausbon, 71, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at Sanctuary Hospice House. He was born in Arkansas June 6, 1946, to Murry and Louise Ausbon. He served his country in the United States Air Force before graduating with an accounting degree from The University of Mississippi. He was passionate about music, often visiting restaurants to listen to local bands. In his spare time you could find him learning about and looking at classic cars or drawing pictures for his family. He loved his family and his dog, Bella, more than anything in this world.
Survivors include three daughters, Cassie Petty and husband, Kevin of Tupelo, Samantha Ausbon and fiancé, Kenneth Mills of Laurel and Baley Ausbon of Tupelo; one son, Chris Ausbon of Tupelo; six grandchildren, Eli and Jax Richey of Pontotoc, Stella and Delilah Petty of Tupelo, Gaige Mills of Laurel and Sam Ausbon of Tupelo and three sisters, Jeri Ausbon of Brandon, Wanda Rudy and husband, Wayne of Nettleton and Sara Babin and husband, Mike of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Rayburn Ausbon and Sam Ausbon and one sister Ann Hitts.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
