Mildred J. Bennett   Madison, Alabama – July 6, 1927- May 24, 2016: Mildred J. Bennett, a righteous lady in Christ, his church and the church of Christ died May 24, 2016. She was a faithful wife and loving mother.   She is survived by her husband of sixty eight years, Clyde Bennett of Madison, Alabama and one son, Danny Bennett of Madison, Alabama.   She was preceded in death by her mother and father, two brothers and two sisters.   She graduated from Tupelo High School in 1946 and the University of Alabama in1974.She retired from the U.S. Army, Civil Service in 1992 (TMDE/Metrology) after 37 years service.   A graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 27, 2016 at Old Union Cemetery, south of Verona, Mississippi with Danny Bennett officiating.
