Mike Copening

Faulkner--Michael L. “Mike” Copening, age 54, passed away Monday, October 17, 2022 at the Magnolia Memorial Hospital in Corinth. He was born July 21, 1968 in Wichita, Kansas. He worked as a forklift operator for Oil-Dri in Blue Mountain. He enjoyed spending time with some special friends and their children whom he treated as his own.
Mike leaves behind his best friend, Nancy Crawford; Kay Castil and her son, Bryson; Nancy’s grandchildren, Madison, Trinity, Xavier, Amiya, Bentley, Waylen, Kaylee, Rylee, and Farris.
He was preceded in death by his mother and a sister.
Mike’s friends and co-workers will celebrate his life with a time of visitation from 2 until 4 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2022 at W.E. Pegues, Saltillo.
