Nettleton—Michael Bryan Caldwell, age 42, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022 at his residence. He was born January 10, 1980, the son of Larry Alan Caldwell and Brenda Sue Ross. Michael worked as an HVAC technician for many years. As a student, he was a great baseball player. He also enjoyed hunting and riding motorcycles. His family will always remember his quirky sense of humor. His children were dearly loved by Michael.
He leaves behind four children, Maddison Rayne Caldwell and fiancé, Ethan Dodds of Booneville, Zayne Ethan Caldwell of Saltillo, and Bently Jayce and Hadley Shyne Caldwell, both of New Albany; his grandson, Cason William Dodds, who is due in January; his siblings, Priscilla Dingler and husband, Donnie of Panama City Beach, Florida; Tammy Davidson of Guntown, Kim Caldwell of Booneville, Sandi Reich and husband, Larry, of Tupelo, Shawn Caldwell of Fresno, California, Shannon Cayson also of Fresno, Shonda Baswell of Baldwyn, and Candice Mauldin and husband, John of Tupelo.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his grandparents, Alan and Ruby Caldwell and Catherine and Delbert Ross.
A graveside service will be held to honor his memory at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Friendship Cemetery. Pastor David Ball will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Ethan Dodds, Donnie Dingler, Payden Surrette, B.J. Williams, Brandon Williams, and Bryson Baswell.
