May Dixon Livingston
Tupelo- May Chandler Dixon Livingston, 100, died Saturday, June 25, 2022 Avonlea Assisted Living in Tupelo. She was born in Cocoa, Florida to Augusta and Russell Dixon on May 6, 1922. She was married to Cayce Banks Livingston for almost 68 years when he died in July 2012.
May worked many years as a bookkeeper and was also a church organist for many years. Another passion in her life was her and her husband’s many mission trips to Belize and Honduras. She loved her church, Harrisburg Baptist Church, of which she was a member for many years.
May is survived by two sons, John Banks Livingston (Theresa), and Andrew Dixon Livingston (Kay); two granddaughters, Nikki Morgan (Stewart) and Terri Campbell (Mike); three step-grandchildren, Eric Wells (Shauna), Heather Keil (Kraig) and Kelly Moak; seven great-grandchildren, Taylor Morgan, Sydney Morgan, Easton Morgan, Camden Morgan, Calle Morgan, Molly Austin, and Banks Austin; seven step great-grandchildren, MaKayla Moak, Katherine Kiel, Cooper Kiel, Drayton Wells, Reagan Wells, Courtney Gatlin, and Taylor Baker.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two brothers, Russell and John Dixon of Cocoa, Florida; and one sister, Margaret Wooten of Merritt Island, Florida.
Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until service time Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
Services honoring May’s life will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues. Private graveside services will follow at Tupelo Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Stewart Morgan, Eric Wells, Easton Morgan, Kraig Kiel, Banks Austin, and Cooper Kiel.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Campbell, Drayton Wells, and Camden Morgan.
