Tupelo - Mary E Williams, 65, died Thursday, April 17, 2008, in Warrensburg, Missouri with her brother, Rev. Steven W. Scott as a result of an automobile accident. She was born April 7, 1943 to the late Lloyd D. and Mary Nell McCarty Scott. She married Dwayne R Williams who preceded her in death on September 3, 2004. She was an active member of the South Green Baptist Church. She loved to serve the Lord. Sadly, she and her brother lost their lives while on a crusade to spread the Lords words. She was always full of life. She was an animal lover. She had a heart of gold and would do anything to help others. She will be missed dearly but is now in a much better place watching over us.
Services will be 4 p.m. Sunday, April 20, 2008 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. William T. Warren and Rev. Shane Ray officiating. Burial will be in Harden Chapel Cemetery in Fulton.
Survivors include her two daughters, Bobbie J Thomas of Tupelo and Deborah A Davis (Danny) of Chidester, AR; six grandchildren, Brian McTigrit, Allen Gray, Amanda Orick, Jonathan Davis, Danny J. Davis, and Daniel Morgan; one great grandaughter, Alexis Davis.
She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-three years, Dwayne R. Williams, her parents and her brothers.
