Baldwyn - Mary Juanita Myhand, 79, died Sunday, January 23, 2011, at The North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness. A native of Jefferson County, Tenn., she was born February 27, 1931. She lived in the Pratts Community for the past 20 years. She was a member of First Independant Baptist Church.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at First Independant Baptist Church with Rev. Toby Mears officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include two sons, Dale Sinard (Sandy) of Maryville, Tenn., and Gary Sinard of Morristown, Tenn.; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Myhand who died Nov. 3, 2010.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Joyner, Nocomma Myhand, Jordon Chism, Terry Myhand, Jackie Myhand and Mark Bishop. Honorary Pallbearers will be Steven Sinard, Edward Myhand, and Kevin Bishop.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to service time Wednesday at the church.
