MARY M. LONG Saltillo - Mary M. Long, 78, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015, in her home. A Ruleulle native, she was born April 2, 1937 to the late Hugh Ledell and Gladys B. Walpole King. She graduated from Riverside High School; she then attended Christian Bible Institute in Waxahatchie, Texas. Mary lived in Greenville, Mississippi where she owned a Children's Daycare Center for 18 years until she retired. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mary loved to paint, especially birds and flowers. Services will be 3 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2015 at the Saltillo Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Tim Green officiating. Burial will be in Campbelltown Cemetery. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, James Long; daughter, Janet Street; son, Glen Long; one sister, Ruth Ferrell (Danny) of Florence, Mississippi; two brothers, James King (Jolene) Ft. Worth, Texas and David King Florence, Mississippi; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Laverne Sickles; two brothers, Franklin King and Paul King. Pallbearers will be Jerry Adams, Glen Long, Justin Street and John Hollie.
