MARY E. LIVINGSTON

Tupelo - Mary Ella Livingston, 77, died Thursday, January 25, 2007, at The Sanctuary Hospice House after an extended illness. A Lee County native, she was born September 10, 1929 to the late Tillman Rial and Dessie Marie Grant Ewing. She was married to Wayne G. Harlow who preceded her in death July 24, 1984. She later married Harrold Livingston September 13, 1991. She worked for the Bank of Mississippi for nine years, was self employed for 14 years, retiring from Insurance Services, Inc. after 20 years of service. She was past president of both the Pilot Club and of Insurance Women. She enjoyed flowers, reading and visiting friends. She was a dedicated member of Parkway Baptist Church where she served for many years as a Sunday School teacher and was an active member of numerous church committies.

Services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Dr. Paul Brashier officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park.

Survivors include her husband of 15 years, Harold Livingston of Tupelo; two sons, Ronald W. Harlow (Debra) of Huntsville, Ala., and Steven E. Harlow (Patty) of Atlanta, Ga.; one step-son, Dennis W. Livingston; one step-daughter-in-law, Tina Livingston, of Houston, Tex.; five grandchildren, Matthew, Scott, and Erin Harlow, all of Huntsville, Ala., and Nathan and Ashley Harlow of Atlanta; four great-grandchildren, Ella, Tallulah, and Riley Harlow, all of Huntsville, and Jacob Harlow of Atlanta; two step-granchildren, Troy Livingston of Houston, Tex. and Jager Livingston of Tupelo; one sister, Peggy Crump (Lester) of Tupelo; and one brother, James Ewing (Lee) of Tupelo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, and one step-son, Ronnie O. Livingston.

Pallbearers will be Chuck Bunn, Andy Witt, Reuben Spencer, Chris Brown, Jason Roberts, David Anthony, Greg Bell and Jim Furtick.

Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
