MARY FOLGER KELLY Tupelo - Mary Folger Kelly, 91, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2015, at the Ashland Nursing Home in Ashland, Mississippi. She was born in Tupelo on February 23, 1923 to Edward Wheelock and Georgia Moore Folger. She married I. M. Kelly on December 22, 1945 and they recently celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary. She was a devoted member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church on State Park Rd. She was a stay-at-home Mom, devoted to her loving husband, Mitt and taking care of their children and babysitting all of her grandchildren well into her 80's. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, January 15, 2015, at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with a graveside to follow at Gilvo Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include her husband, I. M. Kelly of Tupelo; her four children, Judy Copeland (Larry) of Mooreville, Ed Kelly (Sherry) of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, Wanda Williams (fiance, Joey Patterson) and William Kelly both of Tupelo; 11 grandchildren, Donnie Copeland, Jenny Copeland Mills, Angie Schooler (Houston), David Kelly (fiancee, Trista Pleever), Brandy West (Justin), Karina Dykes (Donald), Trent Kelly, Candace Herring (Jon), Brandon Williams (Chasity) and Mary Lea Nichols (Blake); 15 great-grandchildren; one sister, Jane Burgess of Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Laura Stevens in 2006; one granddaughter, Kelly Dawn Stevens in 2009; two brothers and one sister. Pallbearers will be Donnie Copeland, David Kelly, Trent Kelly, Brandon Williams, Jon Herring, Blake Nichols, Donald Dykes and Justin West Honorary pallbearers will be Daven and Luke Dykes, Ethan Herring, Drew West, Cooper and Connor Schooler, Bradley Stevens and Keegan Stafford . Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
