MARY EDNA KEITH
Plantersville - Mary Edna Keith, 66, died Friday, March 10, 2006, at North Mississippi Medical Center. A Lee County native, she was born November 1, 1939 to the late Bernice Odell and Myrtle Harrison Pitts. She had worked for several years in the Copper Plant. She was a member of the Baptist Church
A Memorial Service will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2006 at Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. Tommy Tackett officiating. Cremation will follow
Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Persbacker, and husband, Matthew of Tupelo; five sons, James H. Keith and wife, Daniell, of Pontotoc, David Melton and wife, Shelia, of Mantachie, James Melton and wife, Kathy, of Belden, William Melton and wife, Martha, of Pontotoc, and Odell Melton of Tupelo; one sister, Annie Ruth Keith and husband, Walter; two brothers, David Pitts and wife, Barbara, and Kenneth Pitts and wife, Tina, all of Pontotoc; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren..
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two children, Sidney Melton and Shena Melton.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, and will continue Saturday from 2:30 until service time at the funeral home.
