MARY FRANCES INGRAM Tupelo - Mary Frances Ingram, 78, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at the Sanctuary Hospice House after an extended illness. She was born in Marshall, Illinois on January 28, 1937, to William Henry and Ethel Drummond Wilson. A Marshall High School graduate, she then went on to earn her Associates Degree in Secretarial Science. On October 5, 1957, Frances married Gene Ingram. Frances started her Tupelo Public School District career on September 1969. She spent eleven years, 1969 until 1980, as a Library and Teacher's aide at Milam Junior High and Pierce Street Elementary Schools. She then spent nineteen years, 1980 until 1999, as school secretary at Tupelo High School. Frances retired after forty years of service in 2010 with TPSD in Human Resources. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church. She enjoyed working in her yard. Frances loved spending time with family especially her grandsons. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, February 12, 2015 at St. James Catholic Church with Father Tim Murphy officiating. Private burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include three daughters, Lisa Russell (Dale) of Tupelo, Julia Ingram of Houston, TX and Malinda Ingram (Bubba Stegall) of Pontotoc; six siblings, Barbara Waymire of Camargo, IL, Paul Wilson (Marge) of West Union, IL, Dorothy Wilson of Chicago, IL, Sarah Manrriquez (Ron) of Chicago, IL, Virgina Andrews (George) of Bedias, TX, Jim Wilson (Faye) of Wadesville, IN; two grandsons, Justin Russell (Emilee) of Tupelo, Zach Russell of Tupelo and one great-grandson, Charlie Russell of Tupelo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ethel Wilson; her husband of 57 years, Charles Eugene "Gene" Ingram. Visitation with Rosary will be 5 - 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo. Memorials may be made to Sanctuary Hospice House, 5159 West Main Street, Tupelo, MS 38801, and Alzheimer's Association National Office, 225 N.
