MARY DUTY HALL
TupeloMary Duty Hall, 88, died Thursday, February 23, 2006, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a short illness. She was born July 22, 1917, to the late Hillary and Estelle Livingston. She was retired from Tupelo Water and Light and was a member of the Verona United Methodist Church. She was a very good cook and enjoyed sewing and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. Don Sparks officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial park.
Survivors include her husband William T. "Buddy Hall of Tupelo; two sons, Larry A. Duty and his wife, Jane, of Tupelo, David G. Duty and wife, Ludmilla, of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; two step-sons, Bob Hall and wife, Lynn, and David T. Hall and wife, Debbie, all of Tupelo; one sister, Jo Watson and husband George, of Tupelo; one brother, Harold O. Livingston and wife Mary, of Tupelo; two grandsons, Stokes Duty and wife, Tara, of Terrell, Tex., Damien Duty of Tupelo; three granddaughters, Jessica Fulgham and husband, Jeff, of Tupelo, Mary Beth Duty of Memphis, Shannon Duty of Washington DC; three great-granddaughters, Elizabeth Fulgham, Katelyn Fulgham, Sierra Floyd, all of Tupelo; one great-grandson, Jackson Duty of Tupelo.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles Roy Livingston, Paul Eldridge Livingston, Walter Byron Livingston, and James Alexander Livingston.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
