MARY DARLING BRYANT
Tupelo--Mary Darling Bryant died on January 18, 2014, at Graceland Nursing Home in Pontotoc, MS. She was born on December 29, 1923 to Luther Alexander Bryant and Virginia Ozelee Darling Bryant. She was a member of the Non-Denominational Church. She was a 1942 graduate of Amory High and lived most of her adult life in Tupelo and Sherman, MS. She was a retired seamstress and quality control inspector at Joyner-Fields in Sherman, MS.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 20, 2014 at 11:00 am at Lee Memorial Park in Verona with W.E. Pegues Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Ms. Fe Gatan and Ms. Helen Montgomery will be officiating.
She is survived by a nephew, Ivan Bryant, Jr. (Diane) and a niece, Kathy Patterson of Amory. She is also survived by 1 great-nephew, Ivan Bryant, III (Lorie); and 3 great-nieces, Kate Hale (Nathan), Elizabeth Martin (Phil), and Laura Patterson; 2 great-great-nephews, Brandon Bryant, and Charlie Martin; and 2 great-great- nieces, Madelyn Martin and Anna Brooke Bryant. She is also survived by a special friend, Dorothy Turner of Pontotoc.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Ivan Bryant, and a sister-in-law Frances Lewis Bryant of Amory.
Visitation will be at the graveside following the service.
