SHEFFIELD, Ala. " Martha White, 68, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2007, in Muscle Shoals, Ala., after a sudden illness. She was born Aug. 24, 1939, in Holly Springs. He was a homemaker and a Baptist. She loved going to yard sales. She was the widow of James L. White.
State room prayer services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors with the Rev. Danny Mears officiating. Burial will be in the Turkey Creek Cemetery in Calhoun County.
Survivors include four daughters, Patsy Glosson and Patricia Baskins, both of Sheffield, Ala., Betty Henry of Batesville and Laverne Franks of Saltillo; one son, James Jr. White of Englewood, Fla.; two brothers, George Guyise of Olive Branch and Robert Earl Guyise of Memphis; 19 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and three sisters, Annie May Guyise, Billie Ruth Kinkanod and Faye Davis.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Glosson, Colton Cook, Billy Franks, Richard Baskins, Scotty Lee and Jimmy Lee.
Visitation will be from noon until service time on Sunday at the funeral home.
