MARTHA THRASHER Tupelo - Martha Thrasher, 67, went to her heavenly home Sunday, November 1, 2015, at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born September 24, 1948, to Lenn and Irene Barnett. She worked at Red Cap, Hickory Springs, Walls and drove a truck periodically in between. She enjoyed traveling and shopping for her children, but she loved seeing her children and grandchildren happy the most. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Bro. David Blaylock officiating. A graveside service will be follow in Priceville Cemetery. Survivors include her sons, David Putt (Melissa) of Shannon and Michael Thrasher of Tupelo; step-sons, Jimmy, Philip and Bobby Thrasher; grandchildren, Angela Odom of Saltillo, Mark Putt of Shannon, Allan Sprinkle of Baldwyn, Jeff Davis of Brewer, Kyle Davis of Pascagoula and Max Davis of Fulton; sister, Ruby Woodin (Don) of Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Raymond and Bill Barnett. Pallbearers will be Mark Putt, Max Davis, Jeff Davis, Chris Blaylock, Scott Lynk and Jimmy Thrasher.
