Spring Hill - Marjorie Sue Morgan, 56, died Thursday, May 14, 2009, at The Meadows in Fulton after a brief illness. A native and lifelong resident of the Spring Hill Community, she was born October 8, 1952 to Gaston and Betty Dozier Morgan. She was a member of Eggville Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed bingo and spending time with the nurses and staff at The Meadows. She especially loved cats. Anyone who knew her thought of her as an angel on earth and she blessed many during her short life.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Eggville Free Will Baptist Church with Dr. Gerald Gann officiating. Burial will be in Eggville Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her sister, Teresa Mitchell and husband, Mike, of Mooreville; two nieces, Elizabeth Mitchell and Laura Mitchell, all of Mooreville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, John Thomas Morgan; her grandparents, Clifford "Click" Dozier and his wife, Willie, and Burl and Ivy Morgan; her grandmother, Lula Marie Dozier.

Pallbearers will be Roger Deaton, Chris Deaton, Jeff Malone, Tim Malone, Gabby Figuroa and Andy Dozier

The nurses and staff of The Meadows will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The body will lie in state one hour prior to service time at the church.
