MARIO CROSILLA
Belden - Mario Crosilla, 87, died Wednesday, March 21, 2007due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born November 1, 1919, in Visignano, Italy to the late Giovanni and Giuseppina Zelco Crosilla. In 1956 he and his family moved to Canada and later to New York. He had lived in the Tupelo area for the past 16 years.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2007 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Father Henry Shelton officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Etta Crosilla of Belden; his daughter, Audrey Brandow of Tupelo; one brother, Libero Crosilla and wife, Antonietta, of Trieste, Italy; two grandchildren, Andrea Strawbridge and husband, Ike, of Tupelo, and Sean Brandow and wife, Kathy, of New York; two great-grandchildren, Ryan Brandow and Kaitlyn Brandow; six nieces, Luciana Franklin of Tupelo, Edda Duszak and Nelly Lauro, both of Pennsylvania, Elena Studencich and Rosalia Furlani, both of Trieste, Italy, and Arianna Bermudes of Buenes Aries, Argentina, and their families; a nephew, Silvano Ferin of Trieste, Italy, and his family; special friends, Dr. Jay Dey and wife, Deepika, and their children, Ellora and Rahul, and Pat and Frank Domingo of New York.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters; his son-in-law, Ray Brandow; a granddaughter, Wendy Brandow.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
