Saltillo - Marilyn Six, 83, died Friday, December 11, 2015, at her residence in Saltillo after a sudden illness. She was born March 22, 1932 to Alvin and Bernice Doan Reed. She was born and raised in Dodge City, Kansas. She had lived most of her adult life in California before moving to Saltillo in 2005. In Marilyn’s free time she enjoyed crossword puzzles and reading.
Survivors include husband of 63 years, Don Six of Saltillo; two daughters, Sheri Cantrell (Richard) of Chino, California and Star Wood of Saltillo; one son, Scott Six (Kathy) of Angels Camp, California; one brother, Ron Reed (Alice) of Chico, California; five grandchildren, Jason Cantrell, Nathan Cantrell, Justin Six (Katrina), Shannon Leavens (Thadius) and Josh Wood (Haley) and three great grandchildren, Ethan Cantrell, Olivia Cantrell and Layla Six.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Steven Six and one brother, Howard Reed.
Visitation will be 5 until 7 p.m. Monday, December 14, 2015 at W. E. Pegues, Saltillo.
