Marian Cayson Webb

Auburn - Marian Cayson Webb, 61, went to be in the presence of her Lord Saturday, December 30, 2017, at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born August 26, 1956, to Ralph and Ella Wayne Parker Cayson. She was a lifelong resident of Auburn Community and was a 1974 graduate of Mooreville High School. Marian married Fred Webb on April 23, 1976. She worked at The McDougal Center for several years and was also an inventory clerk for the Lee County Board of Supervisors through the road department for over 13 years. Marian had an interest in antiques and loved spending time with her family which included her two chocolate labs, Lucy Lou and Maxus. She was the most selfless and compassionate person and always found the good in others. Everyone who knew her loved her well. Marian was a member of Ingram Baptist Church in Baldwyn Mississippi where her eldest son serves as pastor. She dearly loved her church family.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Fred Webb; one daughter, Layla Webb of Auburn; two sons, Rev. Jason Webb (Jessica) of Baldwyn, Austin T. Webb of Auburn; one sister, Donna Ratliff (Stanley) of the Ratliff Community; two brothers, Barney Cayson of Trenton, Tennessee, Mark Cayson (Christy) of Auburn and two grandchildren, Eva Kate and Easton Webb.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son Fred "Freddie" Webb, Jr.

The pallbearers will be Patrick Cayson, Eric Chesnutt, Hunter Chesnutt, James Webb, Scott Webb and Phil Webb

Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.

The service celebrating her life will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. David Singleton officiating. Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the J.W. Walsh Fund to Cure COPD at 1140 3rd Street NE, 2nd floor Washington, DC 20002

The service will be live streamed and recorded at www.peguesfuneralhome.com for those who may not be able to attend.
