MARGIE MORRIS Tupelo - Margie Lee Morris, 60, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born in Nettleton on October 31, 1954 to Tommy and Nannie Haywood. An avid reader, she loved romance novels. She worked as a waitress for most of her life. She was baptised as a young woman and was of the Baptist faith. Services will be 3 p. m. Friday, April 17, 2015 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues. Burial will be at Auburn Cemetery. Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Jimmy Morris of Tupelo; her children, Melinda Morris (Ricky) of Mooreville, Tommy Morris (Cathy) of Auburn Community, Pamela Fennel (Marty) of Peppertown and James Morris of Tupelo; three sisters, Debra Pearson, Wanda Keith and Susan Paige; four brothers, Tony, James, David and Jimmy Pearson; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Pallbearers will be Tony Dabbs, Vincent Huggins, Cody Morris, Kevin Griggs, Rico Parker, Darrell Morris. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mcally Vega and Tyler Whaley. Visitation will be 2 - 8 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2015 at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
