Margaret McDonald Stroud
Baldwyn- Margaret Ann McDonald Stroud, 61, peacefully went to be with her Heavenly Father Thursday, August 16, 2018 at her daughter’s home in Tupelo after an extended illness. She was born in Lake County, Tennessee, September 6, 1956 to Norman Edward and Marlene Brown McDonald. She grew up in Wetumpka, Alabama. She has been a Mississippi resident for over 40 years. She worked a number of years as a lead seamstress at H.M. Richards in Baldwyn where she gained several very dear friends. Margaret enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include daughter, Christy Morgan and her husband, Grant of Tupelo; two grandchildren, Keeli Hailey and Ava Morgan both of Tupelo; sister, Mary McDonald Bass and her husband, Johnny of Wetumpka; brother, Norman McDonald, Jr. and his special friend, Joy Williams of Baldwyn; friend, Terry Cox; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and three sisters, Norma Baker, Susie Deason and Martha McAllister.
Visitation will be 12 until 2 p.m. Saturday, August 18, 2018 at W.E. Pegues, Saltillo.
