MARGARET C. SHORT Tupelo - Margaret C. Short, 84, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at her home after an extended illness. She was born May 3, 1931 to Horace and Leontine Heard Carruth. She worked as a Bookkeeper/Office Manager at several local car dealerships for over 65 years including Metro Ford, Lincoln, Mercury Dealership, Friendly Ford, Trace Ford and Searcy Ford. She was a member of Mooreville United Methodist Church. She loved her roses, animals, especially her cats, loved working, but most of all her time spent with her grandson, Spencer. Stateroom services will be 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors, Tupelo. Survivors include her only daughter, Kathy Most (Mike); her grandson, Spencer Most both of Tupelo; a host of cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy K.
