MARGARET ANN DAVIS
Tupelo - Margaret Ann Davis, 47, died Thursday, June 20, 2013, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born in Monroe, Louisiana on July 6, 1965 to Robert William McGowen, Sr. and Peggy Ann Harrelson McGowen. She was a graduate of UNA with a degree in nursing and worked as a labor and delivery nurse for over fifteen years. She was currently working on her Masters of Education at the University of Mississippi. She was an active member of Bissell Baptist Church. She loved her grandchildren and cherished the time she spent with them.
A celebration of her life will be 5 p.m. Sunday at Bissell Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Smith officiating. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her daughters, Kimberly Shook (Fiance, Aaron Burgess) of Maben and Andria Tate (Douglas) of Tupelo; four grandchildren, Kouper Shook, Ashtyn, Kynadee and Taytum Tate; one sister, Amanda Driskill; one brother, Robert McGowen, Jr.; two aunts, Susan Stanford of Saltillo and Dody Vail of Tupelo; her father, Robert McGowen, Sr. of Tyler, Texas.; her mother and step-father, Peggy and Wayne Dring of Arcadia, Louisiana.
Visitation will be 4 - 5 p.m. Sunday, June 23, 2013 at the Church.
