Mamie Anderson
June 16, 1925 — July 27, 2008
Greenville--Mamie Staggs Anderson, 83, died Sunday, July 27, in Greenville, after a lengthy illness. She was born in New Albany and was a lifelong resident of Tupelo. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She enjoyed hearing about her grandchildren's accomplishments. Comfort is found in Ephesians 2:8-10 at this time.
There will be a private graveside service on Monday, August 4.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Crane and husband, Mike, of
Pontotoc, and Rosemary Ward of Greenville; six grandchildren, Carmen
Bond and husband, Matt, of Memphis, Michelle Sutton and husband,
Brian, of Pontotoc, Kristen Crane of Memphis, Stacie Holmes and husband, Jeff, of Orcutt, CA, Ruth Erin Lewis of Arroyo Grande, CA, and Helen Ward of Nesbitt, MS; seven great grandchildren; one sister and two nephews.
In lieu of flowers, friends may donate to a local animal shelter or to AARF, P.O. Box 66, Leland, MS 38756.
