Mai Faucette

MAI FAUCETTE Tupelo - Mai Faucette, 95, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at her residence. She was born December 20, 1918 to Thomas Leon and Mai Harris Pace. A graduate of Canton High School , she then went on to the University of Southern Mississippi where she graduated with a Bachelors degree in Home Economics. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Tupelo. Survivors include her three children, Bob Faucette and wife Cindy , Sarah Mattox and Rick Faucette of all of Tupelo; four grandchildren, Chris Mattox and wife Teri of Nettleton, Kirby and Harris Faucette of Tupelo and Mary Frances Faucette of Oxford; one great-grandchild, Sawyer Mattox of Nettleton; one sister, Tomie Gibson of Madison; and her caregivers, Brenda Scott, Cynthia Northington, Betty Singleton, Joyce Rowe and Gail McKinney. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Kirby P. Faucette; and two sisters, Lou Wells and Dot Pace. Visitation will be 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2014, in McFadden Hall of First Presbyterian Church. There will be a private graveside service for family.
