MACY L BOOZER

Evergreen Community- Macy Louise Boozer, 87, died Thursday, June 22, 2006, at Highland Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. A lifelong Evergreen Community native and resident, she was born April 5, 1919 to the late William Frank and Cora Turman Nichols. She was a member of the Carolina Baptist Church. She was the widow of the late E.T. Boozer.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 26, 2006 at New Chapel Methodist Church with Bro. Billy McBunch and Bro. Jimmy Criddle officiating. Burial will be in New Chapel Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her two daughters, Carolyn Cathcart and Marilyn Powell, both of Kenner, La; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and Monday at the church from 9 a.m. until service time.

Memorials may be made to Caroline Baptist Church, Evergreen Methodist Church or the New Chapel Cemetery Fund.
