Saltillo ? Lynn Smith Carr, 64, went to be with the lord Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness. Born in Lee County, she was born February 18, 1949, to Clyde and May Dell Smith Sudduth. She was originally from Mooreville and Skyline until moving to Saltillo in 1992. Lynn was a member of The Church of Christ.



She was a loved wife, mother, and ?greatest nanny in the world?. She was known to family as the most beautiful sharing and unselfish person anyone would ever meet. She always made sure everyone else didn?t do without. She put everyone else?s happiness and needs before her own.



Lynn married her high school sweetheart Robert E. ?Bobby? Carr August 15, 1964. She always said life is too short so everyone should get along and enjoy life and appreciate what little time everyone has together.



A celebration of her life will be 2 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2013, at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Leon Wllis officiating. Burial will be in Gilvo Cemetery.



She is survived by her husband of 49 wonderful years, Robert E. ?Bobby? Carr of Saltillo; two daughters, Bobbie Lynn Carr and Jackie Reese, both of Saltillo; four grandchildern, Kayla Watson (Jarrett), Kristin Meeks (Brandon), Chad Armstrong, Lauren Jacobs; five great-grandchildern, Triton Meeks, Lilly Watson, Case Watson, Neely Watson, Ava Gifford, one brother, Jimmy Richman (Terri) of Stantville, Tenn; one aunt, Rudy Jean Moore of Florence, Al; uncles, Clint Smith Jr. of Plantersville, MS, Wayne Smith, Richard Smith, Cleveland Smith, Billy Smith, Talmadge Smith, Joe Smith, and Robert Smith; host of niecees and nephews.



She is preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents, Clint and Imogene Smith, Grady and Pearl Sudduth.



Visitation will be 4 - 9 p.m. Thursday, October 10, 2013, at the funeral home.



Memorials may be made to Pegues Funeral Home in her Honor for the Funeral.
