LUCILLE VALENTINE EICHLER

Tupelo, Miss. -Lucille Valentine Eichler, 81, died Tuesday, December 5, 2006, at The Home Place in Saltillo, Miss. after an extended illness. A native and longtime resident of Pittsburg, Penn., she was born January 25, 1925 to the late Ernest and Mary Mott Valentine. She was employed by CECO in Pittsburg, Penn. and retired after 26 years of service. She was the widow of Alfred T. Elchler who preceded her in death April 19, 1993. She had been living in Tupelo since 1997. She was a member of Jefferson United Presbyterian Church in Jefferson Hills, Penn. where she served as financial secretary and was a member of the Jefferson Women's Association.While living in Tupelo, she had attended Calvary Baptist Church.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 9 at the Griffith Mortuary Chapel in Pittsburg, Penn. with Rev. Robert Koschik officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of local arrangements and Griffith Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements in Pittsburg.

Survivors include one daughter, Donna Krason and husband, Ken, of Tupelo; one son, Alfred "Al Eichler of Tupelo; two grandchildren, Tim Krason of Jackson and Liz Krason of Tupelo.

Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at W.E. Pegues and from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Griffith Mortuary in Pittsburg.
