LUCILLE A. BRANNAN

Pontotoc " Lucille Arnold Brannan, 85, died Sunday, January 27, 2008, at The North Mississippi Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born July 2, 1922 in Baldwyn to the late C. Y. and Etta Frances Tatum Arnold. A long time resident of Tupelo and the Lee County area, she was a graduate of Verona High School. Her husband, Lamar H. Brannon, Jr. preceded her in death June 20, 1991. She was Retired as assistant administrator at the North Mississippi Medical Center with over 30 years of service. She was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church where she served as a .

A private memorial service will be 4 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2008 at the home of Jimmy Robbins in Pontotoc County. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include one sister, Dot Lemons Carlock and her husband, Grover, of Jackson, Tennessee; one son-in-law Jimmy Robbins of Pontotoc; three nephews, Wayne Lemons and his wife, Kelli, of Tupelo, David Lemons and his wife, Annjo, of Jackson, and Clay Carlock of Jackson, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; one daughter, Janie B. Robbins; one sister, Vassar Ballard; three brothers, Roy, Guy, and Jimmy Arnold; and one nephew, Dr. Jimmy Ballard.

Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2008 at the home of Jimmy Robbins.
