Lorraine Lansdell

November 25, 1924 — December 30, 2018

Mary Lorraine Lansdell, 94, died Sunday, December 30, 2018, at Diversicare in Ripley. A native of the Birmingham Ridge Community, she was born November 25, 1924, to Noel Solomon and Alma Lois Webb. She relocated to Blue Mountain about 25 years ago to be closer to her son. For over 30 years, she worked folding and packing jackets at Hunter Sadler. Lorraine enjoyed working in the yard and had the most giving heart. She was a member of Academy Baptist in Blue Mountain.

Survivors include son, Gene Lansdell and his wife, Charletta of Blue Mountain; three grandsons, Terry Lansdell and his wife, Mary of Ripley, Brian Lansdell and his wife, Shauna of Blue Mountain and Robin Lansdell and his wife, Ginger of Blue Mountain; five great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Betty Barron and her husband, Ricky of Verona and Hazel Benson of Fulton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of , Claude Lansdell; two sisters, Louise Davis and Katherine Ellis; brother, Lawrence Webb; and brother-in-law, John Benson.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday, January 2, 2018 at W.E. Pegues, Saltillo.

Services honoring her life will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2018 at the Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. Wayne Cobb officiating. Burial will be in Saltillo Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Terry Gene Lansdell, Brian Edward Lansdell, Robin Ashley Lansdell, Cody Shane Lansdell, Brian Adam Lansdell and Robert Hunter Lansdell.

The service will be live streamed and recorded for those who may not be able to attend at www.peguesfuneralhome.com .
