LORI HERRING Saltillo – Lori Herring, loving wife and mother, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016. She was born in Wisconsin on September 9, 1964. Lori graduated from Saltillo High School where she was a cheerleader. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from North Alabama University. Lori loved taking care of her patients and did a lot of home care. She was very outgoing and enjoyed taking trips to the beach. Lori loved all animals and caring for them. She had a strong faith in God and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Terry Herring of Saltillo; son, Tyler Herring of Saltillo; step-father, Gene Walker of Corinth; mother-in-law, Sue Herring of Saltillo; sisters-in-law, Susan Duncan (Ricky) of Dorsey and Ginger Kitchen of Saltillo; special friend, Rita Loden of Saltillo. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marjorie Walker, aunt, Katherine Zepp and grandparents, Elvis and Olie Brown. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Thursday, October 27, 2016, at W. E. Pegues, Saltillo. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, October 28, 2016, at the Saltillo Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Rex Yancey and Rev. Phil Ellis officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Tim Yates, Dale Brock, Matthew Duffie, Burt Griffin, Scotty Richey and Ricky Anglin. Expressions of sympathy may be left at
