Loretta Lee
SALTILLO - Loretta Lee, 81, received her promotion to heaven Friday, September 22, 2017. She is with Jesus and her beloved husband of 55 years, Robert E. “Bill” Lee. She was born November 17, 1935 to Clovis “Bootsie” and Mable Goodwin in the Brewer Community, Mississippi.
Loretta was a life-long resident of Lee County and graduated from Shannon High School. She married Robert E. “Bill” Lee on April 15, 1952. Loretta worked as a Dental Assistant for Dr. Ozie Drummond until retirement. She was a member of Saltillo United Methodist Church.
Loretta is survived by son, Robert A. Lee (Melinda) of Saltillo; daughter, Nancy Kitchens (Barry) of Saltillo; sister, Jo Ann Horton of Shannon; grandchildren, Jennifer Jones (Wade) of Calhoun City, Kristina Hagemann (Michael) of Guntown, Kevin Lee (Lindsey) of Saltillo, Kenneth Lee of Saltillo and Misty Taylor (Nick) of Pontotoc; and great-grandchildren, Alivia Jones, Peyton Cody, Garrett Hagemann, Caroline Hagemann, Walker Lee, Layla Lee, Dalton Umphress and Aidan Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert E. “Bill” Lee; brother, Bud Goodwin; and sister, Betty Ruth Flowers.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the Saltillo Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Tim Green officiating. Burial will be in Fellowship Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Lee, Kenneth Lee, Wade Jones, Terry Bentley and Michael Hagemann.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Sunday, September 24, 2017 at W. E. Pegues, Saltillo.
