LORAINE BOLEN Gulfport - Virginia Loraine Bolen, 90, died Friday, December 21, 2012, at her home in Gulfport. She was born February 1, 1922 in Guntown to Dr. Wilbur and Martha Bishop Harville. She was a graduate of Verona High School and started her married life in the Palmetto Community. She was a member of Chalk Bluff Baptist Church in Waco, Texas. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2012 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Bro. Calvin Warren officiating. Burial will be in Palmetto Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors are in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include one son, Ronnie Bolen of Whitney, Texas; two daughters, Kay Moore (John) of Gulfport and Libby Bishop (Bill) of Waco, Texas; four grandchildren, Karen Mitchell (Ricky) of Memphis, Tennessee, Terri Wilkerson (Don) of Plano, Texas, Ronnie Pruitt of Aubrey, Texas and Brandy Clingan (Matt) of Pontotoc; two great-grandchildren, Samatha Wilkerson and Jonathan Sayre both of Plano, Texas; one sister, Ethel Armstrong of Gatlin, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.T. Bolen; her parents; one daughter, Carolyn Bolen; three sisters; three brothers. Visitation will be from 4 - 6 p.m. Wednesday at W. E. Pegues Funeral Home, 535 W. Jefferson Street, Tupelo, MS 38804
