LOIS NOLAN Tupelo - Maudie Lois Nolan, 94, died Monday, February 4, 2013, at Countrywood Plantation in Mantachie. She was born October 7, 1918, in Burnsville. She was a faithful wife and devoted mother. She dedicated her life to taking care of her special daughter, Rachel, until her health failed when she was almost ninety. She was a strong Christian woman who loved her Lord and Savior. She was a member of Priceville Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Tim McMillan and Rev. Wayne Gullett officiating. Burial will be in Bruce Cemetery. Survivors include one daughter, Rachel Ann Nolan of Fulton; five grandchildren, Brad Nolan (Gena), Deanna Harrington (Russ) and Dennis Nolan (Melissa) all of Tupelo, Kevin Nolan (Selena) of Fulton and Tara Priest (Shelton) of Tupelo; ten great-grandchildren, Bentley, Auston, Ben, Sam, Seth (Samantha), Ethan, Jon Eli, Katlin, Jaxon and Jude; one great-greatgrandchild, Taze; two daughters-in-law, Ellen Todd (Bill) of Fulton and Judy Nolan of Tupelo; one granddaughter-in-law, Andi Nolan of Tupelo and her special caregivers at Countrywood Assisted Living. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Nolan; two sons, Benny and Jerry Nolan; one grandchild and her parents. Pallbearers will be Bentley, Auston, Seth and Ethan Nolan, Ben and Sam Harrington. Honorary pallbearers will be Jaxon and Jon Eli Nolan and Jude Priest. Visitation will be 5 - 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to North Mississippi Regional Rehab, 615 Pegram Dr. Tupelo, MS 38801.
