LOIS HERRON Tupelo - Lois Imogene Tucker Herron, 84, died Sunday, February 17, 2013, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born July 28, 1928, in Mississippi to George Frank and Ruby Opal Crane Tucker. She was a mother and grandmother to the world and never met a child she could not mother and love. She attended Doty Chapel Baptist Church. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 18, 2013, at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Jessie Strider and her son, Rev. George O. Oliver officiating. Burial will be in Doty Chapel Cemetery. Survivors include three children, Ruby Opal Geary of Chicago, IL, Carolyn Bessie Cappuzzello (Mario) of Amory and Rev. George O. Oliver (Virginia) of Nettleton; ten grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Callie Murrell (Frank) of Tupelo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Herron; two sons; four grandchildren and one brother. Pallbearers will be Roger Geary, Adam Oliver, Anthony Malone, Nicholas Lamb, Dustin Clippard, Christopher Frost and Cory Steven Alexander.
